Libraries and schools are a unit to carry out the teaching and learning process. A library must consider the importance of establishing a school library and the obligation to meet national library standards. There are still school libraries, especially high schools/equivalents, that still need to meet standards. For this reason, SMA/MA school libraries are required to follow the National Library Standards number 12 of 2017 (SNP 12:2017). The location of this research is the Library of SMA Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The library still needed to improve its management. The Kuis 1 Batang State Senior High School Library has never evaluated the fulfilment of SNP 12:2017. Thus, this study aims to determine the completion of school library standards at the Batang Kuis 1 Public High School Library based on the National Library Standards (SNP 12: 2017). This research is a descriptive type with a qualitative approach. Researchers describe the results of research directly from the field. The results showed that the collection standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, service standards, and management standards almost met the SNP 12:2017 standards, while the staff and library establishment standards met the SNP 12:2017 standards. The library has almost met all the standards that have been set. Obstacles or causes of not fulfilling some parts of the standards are that the library does not understand management that is oriented towards fulfilling standards in detail, and some technical work is hampered due to the co-19 pandemic. However, the library tries to meet the standards and serve users as needed.
