dc.description.abstractPublic relation in general is a continuous process of management's efforts to gain goodwill and understanding from customers, employees, and the public. In his work public relations assist management in the delivery of information and responses to public opinion. This writing aims to determine the role of the relationship between the community in increasing the promotion of reading culture at the Library and Archives Agency of North Sumatra Province The paper uses the method of literature study, observation, Interviews, and documentation. The result of this paper is that public relations at the Library and Archives Agency of North Sumatra Province have played an active role in managing the library website, doing promotions continuously on social media, carrying out various library activities, making some short videos via Instagram, and establish a cooperative relationship both institutionally and personally with outside agencies or other individuals.en_US
