This study aims to determine the relationship between internet addiction and four dimensions of empathy, namely fantasy, perspective taking, empathic concern, and personal distress in adolescents. This study involved 264 adolescents. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a correlational type of research. The scale used is the modified internet addiction scale from the Social Networking Addiction Scale by Shahnawaz & Rehman (2020) and the empathy scale used is the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) by Davis (1980). The data obtained was processed using the Rank Spearman correlation analysis technique. The results showed that there was no negative relationship between internet addiction and the four dimensions of empathy, namely fantasy, perspective taking, empathic concern, and personal distress (rₛ = 0.234; rₛ = -0.098: rₛ = -0.023; rₛ = 0.404, p>0.05 ).en_US
