Analisis Aitem Dimensi Bertakwa pada USU BINTANG Inventory

Abstract

This research is a descriptive quantitative research with convenience sampling technique. The study aim to analyze the item dimensions of "Bertakwa" at USU BINTANG Inventory. The criteria for respondents in this study were University of North Sumatra students class of 2022 with a total of 1907 students. The analysis dimension of "Bertakwa" in this study uses Rasch modeling which includes analysis of the reliability coefficient with the value of person reliability and item reliability, analysis of the validity coefficient based on internal structure, and analysis of the item difficulty index as well as looking at the individual ability index. Based on the results of the analysis using Winstep 3.73 for windows software, the reliability results using person reliability produce a low coefficient value. However, the item reliability on dimension of “Bertakwa” is good for all packages. The validity coefficient using the MNSQ infit and MNSQ outfit values in the range of 0.6-1.4 is declared valid, so that only 52 out of 70 items are classified as valid. There are 23 items out of 70 items with a high level of difficulty. Based on the person measure analysis, it is known that there are 1884 respondents who have high character of "Bertakwa" while 23 respondents are classified as low. The results of this study concluded that the items dimension of "Bertakwa" in the USU BINTANG Inventory can already be used, but improvements still need to be made to items that are not valid.
