Penentuan Lokasi Alternatif tempat Pemrosesan Akhir Sampah Menggunakan Teknik Ahp dan Gis di Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

The problem of solid waste has become a significantly growing aspect, especially in urban areas. The problem of waste has a wide impact, especially problems related to the environment. Based on SIPSN (2018), Kabupaten Deli Serdang has two landfill, namely TPA Namo Rube Julu with a Controlled Landfill system and TPA Tadukan Raga with a Sanitary Landfill system with a total managed waste of 638.04 tons/day. However, in 2020 the TPA Tadukan Raga was closed because it had reached the maximum amount of waste heap. So that the TPA Namo Rube Julu is the only landfill in Kabupaten Deli Serdang. So a new disposal location is needed as a replacement for the TPA Tadukan Raga. Determining the location of a landfill is a complex process and requires evaluation that takes into account city, government and environmental regulatory requirements. This study uses a analytic hierarchy process method that is adapted to SNI 03-3241-1994 and is analyzed and integrated using a geographic information system to provide suitable land as an alternative for selecting a new disposal area to process the waste produced so that it does not have an impact on the environment and society.
