dc.description.abstractShallot is a horticultural commodity that is most commonly used in every home industry, daily food processing to be used for health therapy, which causes the need and demand for shallots to increase, but shallot production is still inefficient in fertilization, that it is necessary to do research to increase production with nutrient uptake optimalitation are NPK fertilizer comparison with mycorrhizal inoculation. Mycorrhizal increase nutrient uptake and water, that it is necessary to do research related to effectiveness of NPK fertilizer comparison and use mycorrhizal to increase shallot production. The research was conducted in Medan city, Marelan district from November 2022 to January 2023. The research used a randomized block design with 2 factors. The first factor was the application of N,P,K fertilizer with a dose of 1:2:1 (42 g, 32 g, 16 g), 1:1:1 (42 g, 16 g, 16 g) and 2:1:2 ( 84 g, 16 g, 32 g). The second factor was the application of mycorrhizal inoculation 0 g and 5 g. These parameters were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, tuber wet weight, tuber wind dry weight, tuber diameter, water content, tuber weight, dissolved solids, tuber production, N,P,K nutrient uptake, degree of root infection and quality content analyses. Mikofer increased the ability of plants to absorb water, N,P,K nutrient and can maximize its availability in the soil by application of N,P,K 1:2:1 with mikofer 5 g increased growth, production and shallot quality contents.en_US
