dc.description.abstract | This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a total of 1907
respondents, who were all students of University of North Sumatera from the 2022
cohort. The sampling technique used in this study was convenience sampling. The
aim of this study was to analyze the items of dimension 2 in the USU BINTANG
Inventory using the Rasch approach in seven packages. The analysis was
conducted by examining the reliability coefficients through the values of person
reliability and item reliability, validity coefficients based on internal structure,
and item difficulty while also looking at individual ability through the person
measure. The analysis using the Winstep program showed that the item reliability
in all packages of dimension 2 was considered very good, but the values of person
reliability were weak in all packages. The validity coefficient showed that only 54
out of 70 items were considered valid with a validity coefficient in the range of
0.6-1.4 using infit MNSQ and outfit MNSQ values. For item difficulty, it was found
that 33 out of 70 items had a high level of difficulty. The last analysis of the value
of person measure showed that 1732 out of 1907 respondents had a strong
character of innovative with integrity. The conclusion from this study is the items
of dimension 2 in the USU BINTANG Inventory need to be reevaluated because
there are still some invalid items, and the value of person reliability in this study
is low and has not reached a good level. | en_US |
