Pendampingan Anak Broken Home dalam Mewujudkan Kesejahteraan Anak Oleh Komunitas Peduli Anak (KOPA) di Kelurahan Aur Kecamatan Medan Maimun

Abstract

The broken home children is one of the social problems that often occurs in Medan city to date. This is indicated by the data on parental divorce which is getting higher every year. In this case, the child is certainly a victim where the child does not get affection, lack of empathy for the child, excessive hatred and inhibition of the child's social development. In supporting the growth and development of children who are victims of broken homes, NGOs take an important role in providing assistance to children so that children are able to grow and socialize with the surrounding environment. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach method. This research was conducted at KOPA (Komunitas Peduli Anak) AUR Village, Medan Maimun. KOPA NGO is one of the NGOs that provides assistance to broken home children in Aur village, Medan Maimun. The form of assistance provided by NGO KOPA is by making KOPA a place to gather, share stories and learn with children who are victims of broken homes. Kopa strives to be the most comfortable place for children to learn and gather. The assistance provided by KOPA includes programs to provide additional education for children, religious and moral education, healthy lifestyles, training and skills and health checks
