Penerapan Lean dan Green Manufactur Ing untuk Mereduksi Pemborosan di Industri Farmasi

Abstract

Medicine is a very important ingredient because it can prevent, cure disease or overcome health problems. During the Covid-19 period, medicine was the target of every community because people began to understand the importance of health to be realized. Waste activities cause the time needed to produce a finished product to be longer so that it has an impact on reducing the amount of production produced by a company, so that waste, both production waste and environmental waste, must be minimized or eliminated immediately. One method of reducing waste is to use lean and green manufacturing methods. With the initial step, namely identifying waste that occurs on the production floor with process activity mapping tools, then visualization will be carried out with value stream mapping or in this case environmental value stream mapping. This wastage is caused by the high wet granulation machine and the difficulty of the operator's reach and also the frequent rework of strips that are not perfectly bonded. So that a solution is obtained in the form of making work facilities that can assist operators in reaching the output area from the machine to the container, and adding a temperature sensor to the stripping machine.
