This study aims to determine: is there any influence between the work environment on employee performance at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Aek Songsongan District, Asahan Regency, and to determine the performance of employees at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Aek Songsongan District, Asahan Regency. This research is a quantitative study using regression analysis. The population in this study were all employees of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Aek Songsongan District, Asahan Regency, totaling 25 employees. Sampling using the non-probability sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling or often called a census. the sample used in this study amounted to 25 employees. The instrument used is a questionnaire with a Likers scale which has 5 alternative answers. The instrument validity test was calculated using the corrected total item correlation formula in the SPSS program, while the reliability test used the Cronbach Alpha formula. Prerequisite analysis includes normality test and linearity test. Then test the hypothesis using simple regression analysis. The results of the study show the following: (1) Based on the results of the descriptive test, the work environment and performance of employees at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Aek Songsongan District are in a poor category. (2) The results of the hypothesis test show that the work environment has a significant effect on the performance of employees at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Aek Songsongan Subdistrict, as evidenced by the t-value greater than t-table (8.301 > 2.068) and a significance value of 0.00 <0.05. (3) The value of the coefficient of determination (R-square) is 0.750, which means that the work environment affects the performance of employees at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Aek Songsongan District by 75.0%.
