dc.description.abstract | Molluscs are animals that do not have a backbone, soft body with a wide distribution in various habitats. This study aims to analyze the diversity of molluscs in the mangrove area with physical and chemical parameters in the waters. This research was conducted in the Historical Mangrove Coastal Area of Batubara Regency, North Sumatra Province in August 2022. The sampling location was drawn perpendicularly along the coast using the purposive sampling method. Sampling by forming plots/quadrants of a 1m x 1m pipe made horizontally. The three research stations represented different characteristics at each research location. Research location average diversity of molluscs obtained based on research results is 5.95; 5.52 and 5.85 are included in the high category. The average value of uniformity is 1.85; 1.90 and 1.79 into the high category. The average value of mollusk dominance was 0.17; 0.16 and 0.15 in the high category. The relationship between physical and chemical parameters with mollusk diversity based on PCA analysis at Mangrove Beach has a positive correlation with temperature, brightness, nitrate phosphate and c-organic, while negative with current, depth, DO, pH and salinity. | en_US |
