dc.description.abstractThe level of water supply in cocopeat growing media is an important factor as one of the considerations in providing irrigation to plants. This study aims to determine the effect of the level of water application with drip fertigation on cocopeat growing media on the growth of cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.). The parameters analyzed were cocopeat mass density, cocopeat particle density, porosity, organic matter, evapotranspiration, uniformity of water use, water use efficiency, water productivity, weight and number of cucumber fruit. From this study, it was obtained that the mass density of cocopeat was 0.08 g/cm3, the density of cocopeat particles was 0.17 g/cm3, the porosity was 54%, the organic matter was 6.37%, the evapotranspiration was around 1.2-1.6 mm/day, the uniformity of use water 98.21%, water use efficiency 99.61%, water productivity 1263.0 kg/m3, cucumber fruit weight ranges from 280.6g-320.4g and the number of cucumber plants ranges from 1-2 fruits of polybag.en_US
