The Subsidized Fertilizer Distribution Program is a national program that aims to help farmers meet their fertilizer needs at affordable prices. The general objective of the Subsidized Fertilizer Distribution Program itself is to improve the quality and productivity of agricultural products. The short-term goal of this program is to increase the ability of farmers to buy fertilizer in quantities that are in accordance with the recommended doses of location-specific growing fertilizers, while the expected long-term goal is to increase agricultural productivity and production in the framework of increasing national food security. The purpose of this study was to describe the evaluation of the implementation of the Subsidized Fertilizer Distribution Program in Cinta Damai Village, Babul Makmur District, Southeast Aceh Regency.
The form of research used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, in which the researcher describes a problem in research conducted based on the answer to the problem. The data collection technique used in this study is the primary data collection technique through interviews and observation while the secondary data collection technique is through library research and documentation studies. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively using the program evaluation theory approach proposed by William N. Dunn including effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, adequacy, responsiveness and accuracy.
From the research results, it can be seen that the evaluation of the implementation of the subsidized fertilizer distribution program in Cinta Damai Village is still not going well, it can be seen from the process of collecting data on farmer group members that is not optimal, the distribution of subsidized fertilizers is often late, there is still a shortage of subsidized fertilizers and the lack of supervision carried out by KP3. Therefore, members of the farmer group hope that the program can run even better in the future. For this reason, concrete cooperation and supervision are needed from all related institutions and members of farmer groups so that the services provided are more effective and efficient and the objectives of the subsidized fertilizer distribution program can be better.
