The dental chair is an integral part of dentist activities when providing health services to patients and is an integral part of dentist activities when providing health services to patients. There are complaints from product users that cause discomfort that adversely affects the operator's posture when working on patients, this can cause musculoskeletal problems, it is necessary to improve the design of the tool according to the feelings and emotions of consumers using the integration between the Kansei Engineering method and Phase I and II Quality Function Deployment to improve product quality, obtain the technical characteristics and critical parts of the product as well as anthropometric measurements to design tools with sizes according to the user's body dimensions. The results from Kansei Engineering show that users want tools that are comfortable, strong, safe, modern, and attractive in color with QFD Phase I producing priority technical characteristics of improvement, namely conformity to product size, and QFD Phase II producing priority critical parts for repair, namely quality of main materials, quality foam material, and suitability of part size. There are seven anthropometric dimensions for measurement, namely the dimensions of head length, shoulder height in a sitting position, popliteal length, popliteal height, head width, shoulder width and hip to produce new designs according to consumer needs.
