dc.description.abstractThis research formed to examine the factors that affected to revenue of industrial sector in North Sumatera over period 1984-2003. This research used Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The method used to discover how was the revenue factors industrial sector effected based on ISIC (International Standard of Industrial Classification) data Empirical result shows that GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) industrial sector influenced by investment and employment as the factors, investment has positively impact to GRDP industrial sector that equal to hypothesis, instead of employment has negatively impact to GRDP Because, the fact that using high technology could increase the efficiency level of employment and increase revenue idustrial sector in North Sumatera. The coeficients show ratio stage return to decreasing scale. This research has matched by theory and supported by other researcher before and could be a good picture of industrial sector in North Sumateraen_US
