dc.description.abstractMethyl ethyl ketone manufacturing plant from 2-butanol dehydrogenation is planned to be established in Kecamatan Medan Labuhan, Kota Medan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara with the total area of the plant area 30.650 m2. The water needs at this plant are supplied from the Belawan River as much as 4.125,034 kg/h. The planned form of corporate organization is Perseroan Terbatas (PT) with a line and staff organizational structure, as well as a total of 370 employees. The economic analysis results on this preliminary plant design are as follows: 1. Capital Investment (CI) : Rp 2.098.451.331.784 2. Total Cost (TC) : Rp 1.295.625.067.509 3. Profit Margin (PM) : 40,945 % 4. Break Even Point (BEP) : 28,763 % 5. Return On Investment (ROI) : 31,103 % 6. Pay Out Time (POT) : 3 years 3 months 7. Return On Network (RON) : 51,838 % 8. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) : 32,798 % Based on the results of economic analysis, it can be concluded that the Methyl Ethyl Ketone manufacturing plant from 2-Butanol dehydrogenation process is feasible to be established.en_US
