dc.description.abstract | Research on the Effect of Feeding Different Protein Levels with the
Addition of rGH Hormone on the Growth and Survival of Tilapia (Oreochromis
niloticus) was conducted in August-October 2022. The purpose of this study was
to determine the effect of feeding A, B and C with different protein content on
length gain, weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and survival of tilapia
(Oreochromis niloticus), to determine the best dose of rGH hormone and protein
content on length gain, weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and survival of tilapia
(Oreochromis niloticus), to find out the best feed by administering the hormone
rGH to length gain, increase in weight, feed conversion ratio, and survival of
tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The method used in this study was an
experimental method with a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two
factors, namely the first factor was giving hormones with 3 levels, namely rGH 9
mg/kg of feed, 12 mg/kg of feed, and 15 mg/kg of feed from feed A, B, and C. The
second factor is giving 3 different feeds 3 repetitions. The second factor was
giving 3 different feeds 3 repetitions. The results obtained showed that the
treatment effect of the addition of rGH doses and different feed protein levels
showed that there was a very significant effect on tilapia weight, had a significant
effect on tilapia length growth, and was not significantly different on feed
conversion ratio. The addition of the rGH hormone dose is a dose of 15 mg with a
protein content of 31%. The best addition of feed to the increase in weight and
length increase of tilapia was 31%, to the FCR and survival of tilapia which was
