dc.description.abstractThis thesis is entitled The Role of Stakeholders in the Development of Educational Tourism TAKOMA Honey Bee Breeding in Nagori Sait Buttu Saribu District Pematang Sidamanik, Simalungun Regency. Tourism development is not only the responsibility of the community, but involving stakeholders related in it. The role of a stakeholder can help society in developing a tourist destination. Hence the aim of This paper aims to find out the history of educational tourism TAKOMA Honey Bee Breeding, to find out how it forms activities, obstacles experienced and the role of stakeholders in Development Educational tour of TAKOMA Honey Bee Breeding. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The technique used to obtain data in this study is observation techniques (observations) which are carried out directly at the research site and interview techniques conducted in depth between researchers and informants in order to get accurate data. Also use collection techniques other data that supports in obtaining information, namely by Documentation techniques using cameras and voice recorders, too using literature studies. As for the results of this study, the TAKOMA honey bee captivity began was established in 2015, and was started by a local resident named Congratulations Suryadi, which started with concerns about the extinction of the bee ecosystem honey in his village. Seeing the interest of the community to travel to TAKOMA beekeeping raises the creativity of joint business groups (KUBE) TAKOMA to develop the honey bee captivity become a tourist attraction based on education and conservation. KUBE TAKOMA has five forms of activities in the development of Captive Tourism Education TAKOMA Honey Bees, namely: building supporting facilities, providing education, take part in bee sting therapy training, make tour packages and do promotions. In the development of Captive Tourism Education TAKOMA honey bees experienced obstacles in the form of insufficient capacity infrastructure facilities in the Education of TAKOMA Honey Bee Captive Tourism, To overcome these obstacles, KUBE TAKOMA received assistance from the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia Pematang Siantar as shown in five the form of assistance in the form of providing infrastructure facilities to increase honey production, provision of infrastructure for the development of beekeeping educational tourism honey TAKOMA, providing guidance and training for development tourism, provide assistance and coaching, promotionen_US
