Abstract
Oil palm plantations are an important sector of the plantation industry in
Indonesia. Oil palm plantation is considered as a promising business because it has
several big advantages. Promising profits made Mr. Mubakir want to develop his
oil palm plantation. The oil palm plantations being developed are located on Mamp
Island, Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai with a land area of 25 hectares, and in
Pergam Village, Rupat District, Bengkalis with a land area of 40 hectares.
Investment funds for plantation development are obtained from business loans by
the bank, for this reason a feasibility study analysis is needed to find out whether
the investment is feasible based on the aspects of the feasibility study. Based on the
results of the research, it shows that the development of oil palm plantations is
feasible on a non-financial basis which is assessed based on legal aspects, social
and environmental aspects, market and marketing aspects, technical and
technological aspects, management and human resource aspects, and is feasible
financially with an IRR of 17,79%> 9,34%, NPV is IDR 22.126.224.721> 0, PP is
10.11 years <25 years, and PI is 3,3370> 1. The results of the sensitivity analysis
with a decrease in the selling price of TBS by 3% and an increase in PPN by 1%
show that the development of oil palm plantations is still feasible.
