dc.description.abstractChicken farm is environmentally sound farm management that aims for livestock manure and livestock food residue from a chicken farm activities to a minimum to produce the effects of pollution or make the waste is not hazardous to health and the environment anymore, so it does not cause air quality degradation and soil or at least impact of pollution can be minimized. By assessing socio-economic aspects of life breeder chickens to see and know the behavior patterns that exist in society are also symptoms of breeders and ranchers activities conducted in everyday life that included age, education level, experience level, income level and number of livestock The population used in this research the breeder who is domiciled in Tebing Tinggi City. Taken 30 breeder chickens that produce eggs and meat on average over I 000 larvae by random sampling method Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis to assess the socio-economic impact of farmers to the production wastes are managed in an environmentally sound accompanied descriftive analysis to look at socio-economic aspects of farmers as well as wastes generated by the poultry farm. Also, see how the revenue with experience, income by age, income, number of livestock and income by the amount of education using the analysis of cross tabulation (crosstab). The results showed that the variables simultaneously breeder age, education of farmers, the number of livestock, and capital significantly affected waste management. While partially (variables age and number of livestock) had significant effect on waste management. While (variable breeder education and capital) did not significantly affect waste management. In addition to preserving the environment, livestock waste management can also increase the selling value of waste so as to increase revenue.en_US
