Pengaruh Sekolah Lapang Pengendalian Hama Terpadu (SL-PHT) terhadap Peningkatan Produksi dan Pendapatan Petani Kakao di Kabupaten Asahan

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to know or distinguish factors which influence on the Cacao farm business revenue which followed in SL-Plll'program at Kabupaten Asahan The North Sumatera and also to analyze about the production difference between SL-PHI' implemented and before SL-PHT programe. The data employed in this research is primary data which collected from the field The sampling technique used is the simple random sampling by taking 60 respondents from the total population of the Cacao farm business which followed in SL-PHT programe at Kabupaten Asahan The North Sumatera. The model used in this research is the econometric model which integrated method employed the Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The coefficient of determination (R2) irulicates that all the variables like: The land acre, The time used by Cacao farm business, Hours of work and The education level can describe all variation in Cacao production rece-ived by the Cacao farm business revenue which followed in SL-PHT programe at Kabupaten Asahan The North Sumatera as amount of 72 percent, meanwhile 28 percent isn't inserted on this research model. There are significantly impact being participated on SL-PHT specially the production Cacao farmers. Therefore, the F-Test (all over the test) indicates, that all independent variables can influence on on the dependent variable significantly.
