The objective of the research was to find out and to analyze the influence
of working hours, the length of business, education, age, the number of balita
(below jive year-old children) as dependents, and capital employed on female
workers' income on informal activities in the trade sector at Langsa. The
research was descriptive quantitative. The primary data were obtained directly
from respondents through questionnaires and interviews. The population was
female workers who worked on informal activities in the trade sector, and 100 of
them were used as the samples. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear
regression analysis and processed by using an SPSS version 20 software
program. The result of the research showed that, simultaneously, working hours,
the length of business, education, age, the number of balita as dependents, and
capital employed had significant influence on female workers' income on
informal activities in the trade sector at Langsa. Partially, the variables of
working hours, the length of business, the number of balita as dependents, and
capital employed had positive and significant influence on female workers '
income on informal activities in the trade sector at Langsa. The variable of
education had positive but insignificant influence on female workers ' income on
informal activities in the trade sector at Langsa, while the variable of age had
negative and insignificant influence on female workers ' income on informal
activities in the trade sector at Langsa.
