| dc.description.abstract | Tourism development is still a problem that is difficult for the village
government to manage until now. To carry out tourism development, it still has
obstacles including the absence of man-made attractions, the absence of public
facilities, poor access roads to tourism, lack of public awareness of tourism
potential and there is no cooperation between the government and the community.
This study aims to identify and describe tourism development in Sitiris-tiris
Village, Andam Dewi District, Central Tapanuli Regency.
The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a
qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using
interviews, observation, documentation and literature. Data were analyzed
qualitatively with tourism development from Mohammad Ridwan, (2012)
including: attractions (attractions), amenities/facilities (public facilities),
accessibility (road access).
The results of this study indicate that tourist attractions in Sitiris-tiris
Village already exist such as attractions for natural resources of the beach and
islands, but for man-made attractions there are no such as exhibitions, shopping,
playgrounds. Then, judging from the amenities/facilities, the government has not
yet provided infrastructure or public facilities on the beach, such as parking lots,
trash bins, entertainment venues, shopping areas, places of worship, public
bathrooms. whereas for facilities on the coral island there are no facilities made
by the government such as trash cans, entertainment venues, shopping areas and
lodging. On the accessibility indicator (road access) to the beautiful beaches of
Sitiris-Tiris it is still seen in a state of disrepair to get to the tourist attraction.
Meanwhile, for access to the coral island, transportation has been provided in the
form of a speadboat to get to the coral island. | en_US |
