The aim of this research is to know the influence of Organizational Support
Influence and Work Value towards Organizational commitment of the Y
Generation Workers. The measurent used in this researce is the organization
commitment scale and the work value scale. This research involves 211 workers
in the Y generation in the Sa.kit Sari Mutiara Hospital Medan. The result of this
research shows that the organizational support and work value affects towards
affective commitment of the Y generasi Y (R= 0.618, R2
= 0.382, F= 21.009;
P<0.05). The support of the organization and work value affects the co:mmitment
of the Y generation workers as well. (R= 0.500, R2
= 0.250, F= 11.363; P<0.05).
On the other hand for the organizational support and work value affects towards
normative commitment of the Y generation workers of the Y generation (R= 0.451,
R2
= 0.203, F= 8.659; P<0.05). This research shows that the organizational support
and work value has got wider influence towards affective commitment compares
to continuance commitment and normative commitment. The implication of this
research hopes that organization should offer honors and or positive attitudes
towards the Y generation, so that the workers' organization support perception of
the generation Y will show increase and improvement, with this increase
perception given towards of the organization support the Y generation will
enhance their affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative
commitment
