This study examine the development of integrated models to predict the water quality of the river. Water quality is determined by the concentration of pollutants in the water flow. The model was developed by taking into account the interaction between the two types of pollutants found in the water flow, namely nitrogen and, phosphorus. Pollutants from nitrogen derivatives consist of organic nitrogen, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. While the phosphorus derivatives are organic phosphorus and dissolved phosphorus.
The model obtained, is a system of differential equations that describe the
interaction between nitrogen and phosphorus. From the obtained model, we can
predict concentrations of pollutants at any time. From the analysis of the
to be obtained that concentrations of pollutants at any time strongly influenced
the waste organic phosphorus in the watershed.
