dc.description.abstractThis research has evaluated the Departement of Cleanliness Medan City based on transportation aspect, solid waste control and environment quality (leachate and ambient air) in Final Land Disposal of solid waste Namo Bintang. Medan. Components analyzed were the transport time, start from the pool to Final Land Disposal Namo Bintang, the age of the vehicles and the amount of solid waste generation The primary data was collected by direct field observation and secondary data was taken from the government institution according with solid waste management. Data was evaluated by using Hauled Container Systems (HCS) and Stationary Container Systems (SCS), environment quality of Final Land Disposal Namo Bintang was evaluated by comparative methods to current Environment Quality Standard. Based on the evaluation, it has been found that solid waste generation of Medan City is 4.289,5 m³/day, the amount of lifted solid waste is about 3.396 m'/day or 79,24 %. Moreover, from the study it has been found that the collection pattern and solid waste transportation by indirect individual system more efficient than direct individual system (door to door) review from the transportation vehicle rotation in one day System Open Dumping which applied in the Final Land Disposal Namo Bintang emerged negative to the environment, it can be seen from leachate quality which over the Environment Quality Standardsen_US
