Pengaruh Persepsi Petani atas Pelayanan Penyuluh Pertanian dan Karakteristik Petani terhadap Kepuasan Petani Program Budidaya System Rice of Intensification (SRI) di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

The method of system rice of intensification is one of the Government programs being undertaken in increasing productivity of rice farmers, but the fact that this program has decreased. This is supposedly because the satisfaction of farmers who follow it are not met. The goal of the research is to analyze the irifluence of perception of farmers over agricultural extension services and the characteristics of the farmers against the satisfaction of farmers cultivating program system rice of intensification Serdang Bedagai Regency. Site selection done in Serdang Bedagai Regency purposive because it has a program system rice of intensification, largest in 2011-2014. The method of determining the amount of the sample Slovin formula, using as many as 77 farmers. Methods of analysis of data with binomial logit regresion. The results of the analysis show that variable perception and farmer characteristics simultaneously influential significantly to the satisfaction of farmers. The variable perception of reliability extension officers and farmers against the attention of extension officers in partial influential significantly to the satisfaction of farmers. Variable characteristics of the farmer i.e. farmer gender and knowledge farmers partially significant effect against the satisfaction of farmers
