Pre-cancerous lesions are the type of lesion that experience changes in the epithelial tissue which can evolve into a malignancy. Dysplasia is a type of pre-cancerous lesion which often found with changes in the cytology and cell architecture. By consuming chemopreventive agents, cancer can be prevented because these agents have the ability to inhibit the early phase of carcinogenesis. Pegagan (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban) is a plant used as a medicinal plant which can be used as a chemopreventive agent. This study aims to determine the effectivity of infusion pegagan (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban) leaves extract with a volume of 1,25 mL/kg BW and 2,5 mL/kg BW on the incidence of dysplasia induced by 7,12-dimethylbenz[]anthracene (DMBA). This study was a laboratory experimental study with 30 wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) as research samples which were divided into three groups. Group 1 was given 7,12-dimethylbenz[]anthracene (DMBA) three times per week, group 2 was given 7,12-dimethylbenz[]anthracene (DMBA) three times per week and recieved infusion of pegagan leaves extract with a volume of 1,25 mL/kg BW, and group 3 was given 7,12-dimethylbenz[]anthracene (DMBA) three times per week and given an infusion of pegagan (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban) leaves extract with a volume 2,5 mL/kg BW. The dysplasia grading in this study used the WHO 2017 grading system. The result from the dysplasia grading were then analysed using the Kruskall-Wallis testfollowed by the Mann-Whitney test. The result of this study showed the effectivity of giving infusion pegagan (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban) leaves extract with a volume of 2,5 mL/kg BW of dysplasia induced by 7,12-dimethylbenz[]anthracene (DMBA). The group that was not given the extract showed a higher dysplasia grade
