dc.description.abstract | Bridges as an important part of the transportation system have a role in
spurring economic growth and regional development. For this reason, the
government is obliged to build bridge infrastructure in a stable condition so that
connectivity between regions can be achieved. Given the many infrastructure
development activities that have been delayed since 2019 due to refocusing and
reallocation and the limitations of the Deli Serdang District revenue and
expenditure in 2022, it is necessary to select the order of priority for the bridge
implementation program. This study aims to analyze the dominant criteria and sub criteria that need to be considered so that the order of priority for the construction
of a truss bridge in Deli Serdang Regency can be compiled.
This study uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and TOPSIS method.
The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The selected respondents
are stakeholders in road and bridge construction program with a total of 10
respondents.
The criteria considered in this study include: i) economic (construction costs),
ii) technical (sub-criteria are bridge age, bridge length, bridge width, and
implementation time), iii) land use (sub-criteria are agriculture/plantation,
tourism, fisheries, and mining), iv) accessibility (sub-criteria are distance and
time), v) social and regional development (sub-criteria are population, social
facilities, government facilities, and regional development), and iv) policy (the sub criteria are development planning deliberations, reses/ the main idea of the
regional people’s representative council, and stakeholders).
The results showed that the dominant criteria that need to be considered are
social and regional development with an average weight value of 0.31. While the
dominant sub-criteria is the population with a global average weight of 0.15. The
order of priority for the construction of the truss bridge is the Sei Belawan Bridge
in Tanjung Anom Village as the first priority, the Lau Cirem Bridge in Perpanden
Village as the second priority, and the Sei Serdang Bridge in Negara Beringin
Village as the third priority. | en_US |
