Sintesis dan Karakterisasi Elektrokimia Hard Carbon Sebagai Anoda Baterai Ion Sodium Berbasis Biomasa dari Kulit Biji Bunga Matahari (Helianthus Annuus)
Abstract
In this research, materials have been synthesized from the biomass of sunflower
(Helianthus annuus) shell biomass for sodium ion battery anodes. A simple
carbonization process is carried out by roasting. Chemical activation process by
adding 4M KOH in 100 mL of distilled water for 20 hours. Then it was dried in an
oven at 100°C for 20 hours and then sintered at 900°C for 2 hours. The sintered
product is washed and then subjected to a hydrothermal process for 20 hours at a
temperature of 200ºC with the addition of 4 mL H2O2 and 1 mL EG in 50 mL Teflon.
The result is neutralized acid degree (pH~7) with aquadest and then dried again at
100ºC for 20 hours. The resulting hydrothermal powder was crushed using a mortar
and pestle and then sieved on a 325 mesh sieve. The anode sheet was prepared by
mixing the active ingredient : PVDF : Super-P with a composition of 85 : 10 : 5 by
adding 2 ml of DMAC solvent. Electrochemical characterization tests were carried
out to see the resulting performance. The results obtained from EIS, CV, and CD show
that commercial hard carbon is better.
