Synthesis and characterization of Fe3O4/TEOS on TiO2 anatase on methylene blue (MB) metal ions have been carried out. The synthesis process is done using the coprecipitation method. The preparation begins by mixing Fe3O4 with ethanol and stirring for 1 hour, which is then left to stand for 30 minutes. The solution that has been produced is then added to NH4OH and TEOS (tetraethyl orthosilicate) and then titanium dioxide (TiO2). After that, it was washed using ethanol and aquabides. The precipitate was dried in an oven at 80 oC for 8 hours. Crystal structure Particle surface, magnetic properties, functional groups, methylene blue adsorption were characterized using X-Ray Difraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and UV-visible spectroscopy. The results of the VSM analysis showed that the saturation value (Ms) and remanence value (Mr) increased while the coercivity value (Hc) decreased. The VSM results show that the sample is a hard, magnetic, and superparamagnetic material. FTIR results indicate the presence of the Fe-O functional group, which is a magnetic material. Furthermore, there is the Si-O-Si functional group, which is the interaction of the TEOS material, and the Si-O-Ti functional group, which is the presence of new Si and Ti bonds. Then there are the functional groups O-H and N-H from the NH4OH material. UV-Visible Spectroscopy results show that methylene blue can be degraded using Fe3O4/TEOS/TiO2 samples, where the regression curve shows good concentration and adsorption values in the equation y = 0.2864x-0.43 with R2 = 0.99 and has a high adsorption efficiency of 80.9%.
