    Abstract
The conflict among farmers at Simalingkar A village. Deliserdang. indicates the most complicated problem of agrarian affairs in Indonesia, especially in North Sumatera. In 2017, the farmers in this village and the police fought each other. Many of the farmers were injured and several of them were detained by the local police. The conflict began when the PTPN II Deliserdang installed a signpost with Leasehold Certificate No. 171/2009 written on it, concerning the land cultivated by the farmers. The conflict was protracted, and the climax occurred in 2020 when some farmers joined in Serikat Petani Simalingkar A (Simalingkar A Farmer Association) walked down to Jakarta. The research offers the concept of class structure in the category of farmer internal group in the social movement in order to understand the characteristics of a cooperation and competition. Demolishing agrarian class structure is useful for finding out the problem of conflict in organizing and opposing its social movement. The objective of this research is to disclose the map of agrarian class in the farmer social movement in the case of agrarian conflict in Simalingkar A, Deliserdang. The research employs qualitative analytic approach; it was done in Simalingkar A. Deliserdang. The data were gathered by conducting observation and in-depth interview with the informants, the actors of farmer resistance. The result of the research showed that class differentiation in the agrarian conflict at Simalingkar A village had caused semi-proletarian and proletarian farmers did not own any choice but adhering to the will of capitalistic farmers. On the other hand, for capitalistic farmers, the conflict was only the means of securing their land asset.
