Quality control is a method and action taken to achieve the expected quality
standards or a way to solve a problem to control, analyze, manage, improve
products. The main objective of statistical quality control in a process is to reduce
variability, improve and keep the production process stable. The stati stical method
used in this study is the control chart ̅, R, S and process capability ( ). In the
applied analysis, it is concluded that the control limit value of control chart ̅is ̿=
0.148, BKA = 0.150, BKB = 0.146, for R is ̅ = 0.004, BKA = 0.008, BKB = 0, fo
, BKA = 0.00319, BKB = 0.00005. Based on these limits, it can be
concluded that the production of crude palm oil is still within the control limits or in
accordance with process control standards. And for the value of process capability
( ) we get = 1,666 and = 1,481 and there is that > 1.00 which indicates
that the production process is very good and the value > 1.00 indicates that the
product produced is very good and is in accordance with the specifications.
