dc.description.abstract | Research on monitoring and control systems for lamps, fans using gesture sensors based
on the Internet of Things (IoT) uses Gesture sensor components, DS18B20 temperature
sensors, BH1750 light sensors, lamps, relays, fans and ESP8266 Microcontrollers.
Lamps and fans will be on using Blynk when there is movement detected by Gesture
with the provisions, lamps on if the light intensity is smaller than 300 lux and off if the
light intensity is greater than 300 lux while the fan will be on with 3 types of speed
based on the room temperature value, namely 30-32C relay 1 on low fan rotation speed,
33-35C relay 2 on medium fan rotation speed and 36-38C relay 3 on high fan rotation
speed. In addition, lamps and fans can be turned on and off remotely using a
smartphone. Based on the research results obtained the highest current measurement
results at a high fan rotation speed of 0.14 A, and the current decreases when the fan
rotation speed drops, the measurement of light intensity and room temperature each has
an error of 6.3% and 4.77%.
The purpose of this research is to create a monitoring and control system for lamps and
fans automatically and remotely using a smartphone. | en_US |
