In this study, composites of barium hexaferrite with Reduced Graphene Oxide (RGO) were synthesized using the ultrasonication method as microwave absorbers. was synthesized from natural iron sand as the precursor material employing the sonochemical method with a calcination temperature of 1000℃ for 1 hour. Commercial RGO was utilized as the graphene-based additive. Three composites, namely BFO-RGO2, BFO-RGO4, and BFO-RGO6, were obtained by varying the percentage of RGO within the matrix. The characterization of the samples included X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis to investigate the phase formation, Raman Spectroscopy to confirm the presence of RGO in the composites, Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) measurements to assess the magnetic properties, and Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) measurements to evaluate the microwave absorbing performance. The results revealed that the addition of RGO reduced the saturation and remanence of while increasing its coercivity. Moreover, the microwave absorbing performance of improved with the increasing percentage of RGO in the composites. The BFO-RGO6 composite () achieved a maximum reflection loss of dB at frequency GHz and -10 dB at frequency
