dc.description.abstract | Immunomodulators are substances that can modulate the function and
activity of the immune system by stimulating or improving the function of the
immune system. Immunomodulators that are currently being developed are those
from nature, one of which is the green round eggplant (Solanum xanthocarpum
Schrader & Wendland). The purpose of this study was to determine the
immunomodulatory activity and the most effective concentration of liposomes in
green eggplant extract in male rats. This research includes the collection and processing of plant materials,
manufacture of simplicia, characterization of simplicia, manufacture of extracts,
manufacture of liposomes with thin layer hydration method, and testing on white
rats with the carbon clearance method. Immunomodulatory testing using the
carbon clearance method was given to the control group (positive: imboost syrup,
negative: Na CMC), and extract and nanoliposomes the test group (dose of 25
mg/kg BW, 50 mg/kg BW, and 100 mg/kg BW). The results showed that the carbon elimination constant for the negative

characterization and has an immunomodulatory effect. | en_US |
