Land evaluation is a process of assessing land resources with a specific purpose through a method that has been tested for implementation including land availability and comparison of various lands according to need. Soil sampling in the field was carried out using a purposive sampling technique in Toba Regency. Land capability class in Toba Regency is class I without inhibiting factors with an area of 12733.42 Ha or 44.27%, Class II with drainage and slope inhibiting factors, and Class IV with slope inhibiting factors. Classes VI-VIII are left naturally as protected areas due to inhibition factors that are difficult to handle for loading. Suitable plants include: pine (Pinus merkusii), teak (Tectona Grandis), mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni), rubber (Hevea brassiliensis), eucalyptus (Eucalyptus sp.) and multipurpose tree species such as, candlenut (Aleurites moluccanus), mango (Mangifera indica), soursop (Annona muricata), durian (Durio zibethinus), avocado (Persea americana), and jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus). The most suitable actual and potential land suitability classes in Toba Regency are shoot plants and MPTS such as pine (Pinus merkusii), mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni), eucalyptus (Eucalyptus sp.), mango (Mangifera indica), candlenut (Aleurites moluccanus), jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus), and avocado (Persea americana) in a according to marginal (S3) and fairly suitable class (S2) with nutrient retention inhibiting factors 4.53% - 4.95% and C-organic 1.03% - 4.66%, which can be repaired with the addition of organic fertilizers and residual combustion ash so that it becomes very suitable (S1)en_US
