Ecotourism is a form of natural tourism that is managed using a conservation
approach. A geosite is a geological heritage object (geoheritage) with certain
characteristics, both individual and multi-object, which are an integral part of an
evolutionary story of the formation of an area. This study aims to identify
potential tourist objects in the Geosite meat Ecotourism Area, Tampahan District,
Toba Regency, North Sumatra Province and to determine the integration of
natural tourism objects in Geosite meat, Tampahan District, Toba Regency, North
Sumatra Province. Data collection was carried out using the method of literature
study, field observations, questionnaires and interviews with managers and the
community. Data analysis on potential objects and natural tourist attractions
were described descriptively and processed using the Director General of PHKA's
2003 Guidelines for Analysis of Operational Areas of Natural Tourism Objects
and Attractions (ADO-ODTWA). This research was conducted for 3 months
(October-December 2022). The results showed that natural attractions around
Geosite Meat have potential tourist objects in the form of potential natural beauty
and flora and fauna. Natural tourism objects also have integration that supports
each other for the sake of environmental sustainability. ecotourism. Natural
tourism objects around Geosite Meat require tourism development in the form of
developing facilities, objects and attractions, as well as services provided to
visitors.
