Abstract
If too much water is given to plant growth, the plant will die. Plants during the day and night and are unable to refresh themselves even when moisture is added to the soil. Calculating potential evapotranspiration using Hargreaves, the data obtained is used for irrigation scheduling analysis and determines the amount of water to be applied to tomato, mustard and shallot fields. analysis of the relationship between the value of the Evapotranspiration Rate of plants with an area of 10,000 m2, horticultural crops of the Tomato type at 0-105 need as much as 313-600 liters of water, scheduling watering between 4-8 days. Horticultural plants of the shallot type at 0-75 HST watering between 6-18 days the amount of water is 136-418 liters, while Horticultural plants of the mustard type 0-35 HST water as much as 209-365 liters of water at 7-12 days. It is necessary to carry out further research with more complex calculations for more accurate data, to determine the efficiency of irrigation water for horticultural crops in . it is necessary to apply irrigation to the Spirit Village and evaluation to find out which irrigation is more suitable and efficient in the Spirit Village, Merdeka District, Karo Regency.
