Abstract

Cultivation of Pineapple Plants as One of Agrotourism Destinations in Attracting Tourist Visits in Sipahutar District, North Tapanuli Regency” describes the existence of pineapple plantations which can become tourism potential. The problem that will be discussed in this paper is to see and describe the efforts of farmers in developing pineapple cultivation as an agro-tourism object in Sipahutar District, North Tapanuli Regency. The research method used in this research is library research and field research. Data obtained through interviews with pineapple farmers. In this paper, tourism theories are described by reference and agro-tourism in particular The results of the study concluded that farmers can develop their agricultural land using the agro-tourism method so that it is more profitable from an economic perspective. By providing flexibility for visitors to be able to immediately see and pick the fruit, it will give visitors a sense of satisfaction and also have a good impact on the development of tourism in Sipahutar District, North Tapanuli Regency.
