dc.description.abstractCrossing Test of Red Gogo Rice Gambiri Baggal x Lombu Cultivar as an Effort to Increast Genetic Diversity was supervised by: Dr. Khairunnisa Lubis SP., MP., dan Luthfi Aziz Mahmud Siregar SP., M.Si., Ph.D. This study examined the success of crosses between the parents of lombu cultivar rice with Gambiri Baggal cultivar rice and observed the characteristics of the seeds resulting from the crosses. This research began in January 2022 until June 2022 in the screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatra Utara, Medan. This study used one way crosses with the patch technique and used the Lombu cultivar as the male parent and Gambiri Baggal cultivar as the female parent. The results showed that the percentage of successful crossing of Lombu x Gambiri Baggal cultivar was 7,5%. The highest percentage of crosses was found in the G9 X L4 cross, 20.83%, while the lowest percentage was found in the crosses G10 X L4, G2 X L6, G8 X L6, G2 X L7, G8 X L7, dan G8 X L8 were 0 %.en_US
