This paper work has a research objective to describe and classify the conflicts experienced by the main characters namely Michael Hosea and Angel in the film Redeeming Love. This paper also describes how the main character resolves the conflict in the film. In writing this paper, the author uses a qualitative descriptive method (qualitative research). The source of this information is from the film Redeeming Love, and the data is in the form of spoken dialogue between the characters. This paper uses Stanton's theory of conflict, which states that conflict is divided into two, namely internal conflict and external conflict. After the data was analyzed using conceptual theory and applying qualitative methods, each of the main characters was described as having internal and external conflicts. Angel's internal conflict is when she feels that she doesn't deserve to be loved by others because of her background, and Angel's external conflict is seen in the chaos of her family. Meanwhile, Michael Hosea's internal conflict is when he is undecided about choosing between Angel or his family, and Michael Hosea's external conflict is when Paul, Michael's brother, doesn't approve of his relationship and says that Angel is not worthy to be with him.
