| dc.description.abstract | Binjai City is an area that has high production of duck eggs. In Binjai city duck eggs has consumed by households, the seller, and for the production of salted eggs. This research aims for knowing the characteristics of consumers of duck eggs, the type of duck eggs which consumers liked, and the influencing demand factor for duck eggs in Binjai city (Y). Suspected factors that influence the demand for duck eggs in Binjai city are the price of duck eggs (X1), substitution product price (X2), family networth (X3), total family members (X4), total needs of duck eggs (X5), and level of liked duck eggs (X6). The method used is a survey. sampling use accidental sampling with 60 total respondents. Analysis data used is descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, assumption classic test, F test, t-test, and coefficient determination test.
Results of this research showed that the majority of the consumer of duck eggs in Binjai city is housewife, with a range of ages 21-30 years old, and the last major was graduated from high school. Duck egg consumers most liked eggs that had a white-bluish color shell, big size, and yolks color which most liked is yellow-reddish. The Influence factors that affected the demand for duck eggs in Binjai city are the price of duck eggs (X1), the total need for duck eggs (X5), and the level of liked egg duck (X6). | en_US |
