Gurami fish is one of the superior species in the freshwater fish cultivation activities in Indonesia. Gurami fish has advantages to breed naturally and live in water inundant while the shortage of guramic fish is slow growth. Feed is an important aspect to be considered because the feed as a source of energy to support the growth in accordance with the physiological needs and cultivated fish species. This study aims to determine the effect of feeding with different protein content and different feeding rates on the growth and survival of the gurami fish (Osphronemus gouramy). The method used in research is experiment with a factorical random design (RAK) factor consisting of 2 treatments and 3 replications of feed treatment with different protein content of 25%, 28% and 31% and different feeding rates with 3 levels are 2%, 3% and 4%. This Research was conducted on Agusutus until October 2022. The results of this study showed that the influence of feeding with different levels of protein and different feeding rates provide a very different real effect (p≤0.01) to increase weight, long growth and survival of the fish while in the feed convertion ratio (FCR) has an uncarible effect (p <0.05). The best interaction in this study is in P3F1 (a 20% protein feed rate with 2% feeding rate) while the lowest interaction is in P1F2 (25% protein level feed by 3% feeding rate).
