| dc.description.abstract | Krueng Geunie nature tourism has variety of natural and cultivating tourism objects which can increase economic condition people’s welfare. This Krueng Geunie nature tourism is very potential to be developed since it has other potentials which can attract tourists from other regions to visit them. The research objective was to determine the potential value of nature tourists attractions, determine the priority factor in developing ecotourism, and analyze the strategy to develop nature-based ecotourism in Krueng Geunie. The research was performed in the Krueng Geunie, Gampong Lhok Keutapang, Pidie Regency from June until Desember, 2021. The result of the study shows that, based on the ODTWA analysis, Krueng Geunie nature-based ecotaurism is feasible to be developed as one of the ecotourism destinations by 76.66%. Its attractiveness is 83.33%, its criteria of accessibility are 91.66%, its criteria of socio-economic environmental condition are 58.33%, its criteria of accommodation are 66.66%, its criteria of supporting facility and infrastructure are 80%, and its criteria of Clean water suplay are 80%. The priority factors for developing the ecotourism in the criteria of weight structure are socio-economic aspect of 0.308. destination structural weight with the sub-criteria of developing the capacity of communal element is
0.373 as the priority factor in managing tourism objects. Krueng Geunie nature- based ecotourism area is in the position of the second quadrant. The strategy which has to be applied is by using a power to use a long term opporninity by doing diversification (marketing the products from the tourism area). | en_US |
