Research on Spatial Modeling Analysis of Habitat Suitability of Carrion Flower (Amorphophallus variabilis Blume.) In North Sumatra Province, Indonesia Using the Maximum Entrhopy method, carried out from October 2022 to January 2022. This research was conducted by collecting data using the Maximum Entropy (MaxEnt) method to determine habitat priority areas that can later be used as priority areas to determine the distribution prediction model. Using primary data in the form of sample coordinate points of findings and secondary data using maps of soil type, slope, area height, topography, river distance, road distance, land cover and maps of 19 climate variables. Each map will be equalized by projection and extand units with a sell size of 0.00833 and a distance resolution of 1 km2 with decimal degrees. The equalized map is divided into two layers in the MaxEnt analysis, the coordinate layer uses sample coordinate point data converted in the form of Comma Separate Value (CSV) and the Environmental Layer includes all maps of environmental variables converted in the form of Actionscript Communication (.asc) which will be analyzed to produce one map modeling the suitability of A. variabilis habitat. The results of the map analysis for three replicates obtained variables that are able to make an important contribution to the modeling show that soil type, temperature, slope, altitude and rainfall are the biggest influences on the modeling of A. variabilis habitat suitability. The most suitable area for A. variabilis growth is in the Mandailing Natal region adjacent to the West Sumatra Region. It is recommended to use variables and use more observation track points to determine the distribution of this species and further research related to the benefits and conservative treatment of A. variabilis in areas considered to be very important. variabilis in areas that are considered very suitable and suitable. Socialization to ordinary people about the benefits, processing and cultivation of A. variabilis needs to be done to maintain the stability of the A. variabilis population and increase the income of local communities.en_US
