dc.description.abstract | Occupational Safety and Health is a science and its application in an effort to
prevent the possibility of work-related accidents. Occupational safety and health is
effort to create a safe work environment and protection from accident risks. The
research aims to analyze cumulative fatigue symptoms and is expected to provide
benefits as well as data in the form of input to companies in minimizing work
accidents due to wood processing activities. The research method used is Job Safety
Analysis (JSA). Job safety analysis is used to prevent accidents by anticipating and
eliminating and controlling existing hazards. Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is one of
the main steps in hazard and accident analysis in an effort to create work safety.
The results of the study obtained 9 respondents consisting of 4 sawmill workers, 1
foreman, 3 transporters and 1 sorter. The cumulative fatigue index obtained at UD.
Purnama Jaya, with the highest value of symptoms of fatigue namely general
fatigue (57.5% sawmill, 30% foreman, 26.6% transport, and 50% sorter). While
the lowest value of symptoms of fatigue is fatigue reluctance to work (7,5% sawmill,
0% foreman, 16,6% of transport, 0% sorter). | en_US |
