Pemulihan Pelaku Ekonomi di Bidang Kehutanan Pasca Pandemi Covid-19
Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the economy, including
the forestry industry. The forestry industry has been greatly affected due to its
connection to global trade and product distribution, which has been hindered by
movement restrictions. In addition, a decrease in market demand and an increase
in production costs have also been issues for businesses in the forestry sector.
Economic recovery in the forestry sector is important to ensure the sustainability
of the industry in the future and reduce its negative impact on society and the
environment. Therefore, this research aims to identify the level of recovery and
analyze the factors that influence the economic recovery of businesses in the
forestry sector post COVID-19 pandemic. The methods used in this research are
quantitative descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The
results of the identification of business recovery levels in the forestry sector post
COVID-19 pandemic indicate varying levels of recovery. Several aspects have
shown signs of recovery, including production, profitability, product diversity,
market, operations, human resources, business administration and services,
distribution and transportation, raw materials and supporting materials,
production infrastructure, as well as transportation, distribution, and marketing
infrastructure. However, there are also aspects that have only partially recovered,
such as business turnover, costs, and capitalization. On the other hand, there are
aspects that have not fully recovered, namely information technology and
management systems. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicate
that there are factors that influence the relationship between operational aspects
and production. Additionally, product diversity, operations, distribution, and
transportation also have an impact on business turnover. In this context, product
diversity, operations, distribution, and transportation also have a significant
influence on the level of profitability that can be achieved.
