In this research, solid-state reaction method was used to fabricate ceramic materials based on Belanda Teak wood powder and Bentonite. Sample activated at 1000 ℃. It is mixed for 30 minutes at 500 rpm using a ball milling. Density analysis was perfomed to determine the density. The density analysis obtained were 2.20 gr/cm3, 2.32 gr/cm3, and 2.33 gr/cm3. Characterization was perfomed using SEM-EDX, XRD, and DTA. XRD analysis revealed a hexagonal crystal structure. The atomic crystal diameters were 4.50 nm, 3.88 nm, and 3.05 nm, respectively. SEM-EDX results obtained morphology in the sample is not homogeneous and agglomeration, and the average particle size obtained are 313.81 nm, 372.25 nm, and 361.63 nm, respectively. The main composition spectra are C, O, Si, and Fe. The sample which has a density of 2.33 g/cm3 has the maximum weight and atomic percentage and is well balanced. The DTA results stated that there was a peak decrease in the temperature range of 95.05 ℃ until 427.54 ℃, and an endothermic peak at temperature of 427.54 ℃ with a mass loss of 9.14 mg. The temperature rises to 534.29 ℃ with a mass loss of 4.34 mg, and it can be concluded that mass loss depends on the effect of temperature. Based on this research, these materials can be recommended to become making ceramics materials.
