dc.description.abstract | The coastal waters of Bagan Kuala Village are one of the beaches in Serdang Bedagai Regency which is thought to have great biological resource potential. One of the biological resources found in the coastal waters of Bagan Kuala is bivalves. This study aims to determine the diversity of bivalves in the waters of Bagan Kuala and determine the relationship of bivalve diversity to environmental parameters in the waters of Bagan Kuala. This study was conducted in November-December 2022. The research method used is the purposive sampling method. The results of the study obtained in total amounted to 896 individuals. There are 8 species found namely Anadara granosa, Anadara gubernaculum, Anadara inaequivalvis, Meretrix meretrix, Meretrix lusoria, Paphia undulata, Perna peridis, Mactra grandis. Bivalve diversity is included in the high category for station I of 5.5, at station II of 3.6 and at station III of 3.5 categorized as high diversity. The Principal Compenent Analysis correlation between bivalve diversity on temperature, DO, salinity and nitrate was positive while the relationship between brightness, current velocity, depth, pH and phosphate was negative. | en_US |
